Dr Cathryn Amey
Principal GP and Practice owner
Dr Amey is an accredited Registrar supervisor and keen educator. She holds a position of Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney and teaches medical students.
Tom Amey
Business Manager and Co-owner
Tom is also a beef producer running cattle on properties at Mummulgum and Dyraaba.
Dr David Stephenson
GP
David grew up in Canberra where he attained his initial degree and PhD in microbiology before completing a Medical degree in Sydney . He relocated to the Northern Rivers a few years ago and has been working at Lismore Base hospital.
David has a focus on chronic disease management, preventative, and rural medicine. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his children, playing rugby and tending to his goats.
Dr Harriet Raleigh
Registrar
Dr Harriet Raleigh is a first year GP ACRRM Register. She graduated from medical school in 2020 from the University of Wollongong and has been a medical student and junior doctor in the local area for 5 years. She has an interest in rural and remote medicine and is excited to continue her General practice training at Riverside Family Practice.
Our Nurses
Carol and Amanda have been working with our team for over ten years. They are fantastic with our patients and are an integral part of what makes Riverside Family Practice so special.
Carol and Amanda are both accredited providers for the National Immunisation Program.
Carol Ramsey
Registered Nurse
Carol has many years of hospital and community work. She has been a key member of our team since we opened our doors in 1997.
Carol has a special interest in wound care.

Amanda has many years of experience in the hospital and community work areas.
Amanda is our Chronic Diseases nurse, clinical IT lead and is responsible for coordinating Accreditation.
Our Reception Team
Trish, Rhonda, and Bronnie can answer your queries with accounts and appointments.
They are also fully qualified in First Aid and accredited to give CPR.
