Flu Clinics - now open

Updated: Apr 20, 2020

We are holding  the Flu clinics this year in the garden in the rear of the Practice.

We are taking every precaution to ensure social distancing and minimise personal contact during your flu immunisation.

Please do not come to the clinic if you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing.

When are the Flu Clinics?

Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 2-5pm.

Please ring 66627711 to make an appointment for the Flu Clinic.

What happens at the clinic?

  • You will be greeted at the gate by an Admin team member.

  • Your temperature will be taken.

  • If you have a temperature you won’t be able to continue into the clinic.

  • You will be asked to complete the pre vaccination questionnaire - please bring your glasses if required.

  • You will then wait under the gazebo at a safe distance from others, maximum of 4 people in the waiting area.

  • You will then be called into the Studio and given your flu immunisation by the Practice Nurse. One of the Practice doctors will also be in attendance.

  • You will then be asked to sit and wait in a separate covered area for 15 minutes following the injection, to ensure you don’t experience any reaction.

  • Again there will be a maximum of 4 people in this area to ensure social distancing.
